I must be the dumbest person alive! Should have cottoned onto this earlier but probably was too dumb to notice. There have been many times when I have done some stupid things in my life and have been taken for a fool.

The Dumbest Person Alive
When I was 4 years old, my uncle told me that chickens grow from feathers planted in the ground. So, I planted some feathers and watered them every day. When they didn’t grow, I got annoyed. I then showed those stupid chickens up by ripping out the feathers and throwing them into the bin. Good riddance chickens!
When I was in 5th grade at school I struggled to learn my times tables. Every day the teacher would quiz us. Whenever she picked me, I would always get the answer wrong. Everyone in the class knew that I was the dumbest person alive.
One day I thought that I would show those smarties that I wasn’t all that dumb. So, I spent the whole weekend learning my 6 x table. And as an added precaution I wrote the answers on the palm of my hand just in case I forgot an answer.
The next day at school I couldn’t wait for the teacher to ask me because I was all prepared. Unfortunately, I had learnt the 6 x table which was the table that the class had learnt the week before. The current week’s lesson was the 7 x table, which I hadn’t learnt at all!
To this day I still struggle to remember that 7 x 8 = 56. Just checked the answer on my phone calculator to make sure it’s correct!
Most Embarrassing Moments Ever!
I think my most embarrassing dumbest person alive moment was in my first year at high school. The school I went to was in a different district to my primary school. So, I was the new kid and didn’t know anyone.
In my math class the teacher dictated where each student was to sit throughout the year. On the right-hand side of me, near the window, sat this very average looking boy named Colin.
The other kids in the class thought it was a big joke to tell everyone that Colin and I were an item. So, to get these kids back, I told them that Colin and I had been going out for ages. Colin didn’t seem to mind the kids thinking that we were an item.
Our relationship was strictly platonic, well not even that. We just sat next to each other in math class as we didn’t have any other classes together. Colin had the strangest green eyes I had ever seen. And as a shy 12-year-old I would sneak a peak at his profile when he wasn’t looking.
One day this guy came up to me in the playground and sat down on my left-hand side. He put his arm around me and kissed on my cheek. He must have been Colin’s twin as he looked exactly like Colin. But this guy’s eyes were brown and Colin’s were green.
While I was flattered that both bothers would be attracted to me, I thought I should take a moral stand. So, I told the guy off. I told him that his twin brother Colin, would probably get angry at him for kissing me.
The guy then turned me to face him. I’m sure the ground opened up and swallowed me! For the first time ever I noticed that Colin’s left eye was green and the right was brown! I had sat next to him for a whole semester and never noticed a thing. Must have been a trick of the light. After all, Colin did sit by the window during math class!
Grant Me Wisdom And A Brain
As I grew older and had my own children, wisdom still eluded me and I remained the dumbest person alive! Most kids spend a lot of time on the internet and my kids were no different. So, when my son at the age of 10, told me that he loved “Harry Potter”, I was horrified.
I thought he had met a stranger online named Harry Potter. So I restricted his internet use and told him about stranger/danger. Apparently my son’s teacher had been reading “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” to the class.
Several years ago, my friend Lisa Linderman, (name has been changed to protect the innocent), started sending me funny emails. The emails were quite hilarious and always made me laugh. She would always end her emails “lol”.
One day I said to Lisa “You must have a very unusual middle name as I don’t know too many girl’s names that begin with an “O”. What else was I to think? After all she did sign off on all her emails with the letters “lol”. Unfortunately, Lisa no longer sends me any more funny emails.
To this day I continue to be the dumbest person alive. For example, whenever I read an online post, it takes me ages. I read every single word. Apparently, everyone else just skims through them in a few seconds. I don’t know; surely you miss out on all the good stuff when you skim.
